HAMMERED LINK JEWELRY:
Various gauges of wire, ranging from fine and sterling silver to 14 and 18 karat different colors of gold, are transformed
into sparkling modern yet delicate pieces of jewelry. No piece is exactly like another since each is handmade from
beginning to end. Wire is first made into various sized individually soldered round links. The links are then hammered to
give them their reflective textured surface. Depending on the jewelryís design, links are either left round or stretched or
formed into different shapes such as ovals, squares, or triangles. The links are then cut, attached or ìlinkedî, and then
resoldered to make the final piece. The finished pieces are finally tumbled in steel shot to strengthen the metal and to burnish
them to a high shine. They can also be sandblasted to result for a different and less reflective finish,
depending on oneís preference.

RESIN INLAY PIECES:
Sterling silver or any other metal including brass, copper, and gold is designed to make a functional and decorative
receptacle for resin inlay which completes the piece. Once the metal piece is made, dry pigment such as enamel powder,
eye shadow, paint, spice, you name it, is thoroughly mixed into a two-part epoxy compound. This colored resin is then
carefully placed into the metal ìmoldî in which it dries and hardens. The face of the piece is then sanded down to make a
flush finish in which the metal and resin appear to be solid. The possibilities of design and color are endless.
